This one’s really easy. Let’s imagine you’re on a web page with loads of text on it and it seems to go on for ever. For whatever reason, you’re looking for a particular words or sequence of characters.
The solution? Simply hit <CTRL> i.e. the CRTL key and “F” at the same time.
This invokes the “Find” command … and (depending on which browser you’re using), should open up a little search box,
whereupon you can search the page for your word, phrase or mixture of characters.
Er voila … if the search word is indeed on the page, the browser will highlight the various instances of it, thus saving you going cross-eyed.
